I wouldn’t say that I’m cleansing type of girl, I’ll try anything once, but an easy way to get some goodness is something that I’m up for. After consulting my friend/nutritionist/chef on what she drinks in the morning that contained lots of fibre and goodness – she passed along her favourite green smoothie. Once she listed the ingredients, I was in! I also decided to name it Greeny for obvious reasons
1 1/2 Cups of Coconut Water
2 Cups of Spinach
1/2 Ripe Pear
1/2 Frozen Banana (frozen for the temp!)
1 Tablespoon of Fresh Lemon Juice
1 Teaspoon of Freshly-grated Ginger
1 Tablespoon of Chia Seeds
Honey to taste
Mint leaves to taste (I used 1-3)
All the goodness in one little magic bullet.
