Are you heading to WayHome this weekend? We are and I’m getting pretty excited for it! So many great bands that I want to see and of course I’m excited for the outfits. Literally anything goes yet I still find it hard to decide on which “look” to go for. I’ve rounded up three different ones that I am considering below.
I think the bohemian look is a given for any music festival but I’m really into this mix of 90’s vibes that is happening right now including the front button up skirt. I tend to not bring my investment pieces with me to festivals – I mean, you are in a field, most likely sweating all day. I turn to my cheap and cheerful brands for these types of weekends. I also like to bring my trusty chucks to keep my feet covered and the best part about them is that they can go straight into the washing machine after the party is over.
Top – How appropriate for Neil Young headlining right? // Skirt – I have one in suede and I want one in every colour // Shoes – Tried and true. // Hat – great for sun protection and style! I love the felt floppy hats but I would imagine they would be SO hot. // Bag – a cross-shoulder bag is a must since you want to be hands free so you can put them in the air, air, air! // Sunnies – retro styles.
Since Day 2 is the longest day of the three (or at least it will be for me!) I’m trying less is more. All white (even though it may not be the smartest) will help me stay cool and I’m baring my feet!
Top – I love this style of top right now. Even though it’s long sleeved – it’s easy breezy and will help prevent any burns from being outside all day (watch your shoulders!). // Shorts – you could easily change the bottoms for black or even blue, I’m just a huge fan of all white. // Sunnies – I adore the shape of these and they don’t appear too heavy on the face with the acetate frames. // Bag – this guy carries your phone, and money – what else do you need? // Sandals – these are a great inexpensive option. // Alexa – She’s my go-to when searching for outfit ideas especially during festival season. I love her updo here and am sad that I can’t do it with my shorter hair but I fully support the red lip even though it may be a little high maintenance at a festival.
Top – I love this top – so cute!!!! // Bag – I love how bright, patterned, and fun this cross body is. You won’t need to wear much else. // Shorts – The high-rise cut offs, so classic and great // Shoes – no need to comment here again, right? // Sunnies – CHEAP and cheerful!
