Everything is coming up wedding these days – we are in the thick of planning so forgive me if I have something on my mind. After the immediate decision of saying “yes” to Andrew (which I didn’t even need to think about) I totally underestimated how many other decisions were lined up to decide upon. After basking in our early engagement glory, we went to celebrate with a bottle of champagne at the Park Plaza and immediately started discussing details. I had always known who would be my bridesmaids so that was easy but how I was going to ask them required thought. As with everything involved with weddings, there are endless choices and varying lengths you could go to but when I came across this DIY from Martha Stewart, I thought that it suited me best. Simple, sweet and a pinch crafty.

Macaron Trinket Box, ribbon, box, crinkle and metallic pens}}

Step 1: Cut your cardstock long and narrow but large enough to write on with your metallic pen – this is where you “ask”!

Step 4: Place into box with crinkle so it rests nicely and they won’t have to go digging for it
