I love setting holiday tables. Choosing the theme, colours and details – I love it all!
Last week, I noticed this DIY on Twitter from Chatelaine Magazine and tried it adding my own touch by making then place card holders.

Step 1: Purchase the pears. Bosc pears are now in season and have a nice shape but you can really use any fruit you wish!

Step 2: Spray paint white.

Step 3: Dip the painted pears into gold paint to desired height.

Step 4: Using a sharpie, (use gold for fun!), write your dinner guest’s name on masking tape and fold around the stem.

Step 5: Place at the setting and ta-da!
